At Eco Movers, we understand that relocating is more than just changing your location; it is a life-altering transition. Alongside Mary’s Place and with the selfless support of our customers, we are offering assistance to families who require it the most and striving to help instill a sense of hope and provide them with the security and love of a true family home.  

Through the Make-a-Home program, we provide an opportunity for patrons to donate furniture and other useful items which are no longer needed during their relocation. These items do a lot more than just mouth an empty space; they transform actual lives by elevating their self-esteem, providing them with renowned warmth and offering a thousand of chances.  

 ✨ Two Families, Two New Beginnings  

 In Lynnwood, a young family is taking their first steps into a new life.

From Peru, they took a long and uncertain journey to find safety and new opportunities in Seattle. Initially, they had difficulty accessing a suitable home and were left struggling when a local church offered help right after welcoming their new baby into the world. Support from donors and warm assistance from Mary’s Place helped the family to move into their first home in America.  

Now America has much to offer — from a couch to cloves, this family’s new home is furnished with countless hopeful, resilient, and aspirational furnishings and items that tell stories of life and new beginnings awaits them and us all.

A fresh start, a mother and her three kids are settling down in Seattle. 

Upon initially arriving at Mary’s Place, they were met with a lack of essentials due to fleeing domestic abuse. The only thing in their possession was a small bag and a will to be safe. Because of the kind help from our community, they are slowly recovering. Simple things, like warm beds, sturdy dressers, and comfy chairs are transforming a house into a real home, a place where healing can commence.

Community impact is part of who we are at Eco Movers, and this is why we are proud to support local charities like Mary’s Place which aims to resolve homelessness in Seattle. By working with Mary’s Place, we make sure that every move can support families in crisis. We take pride in donating moving services to local families and practicing environmental responsibility at every turn, be it with our biodiesel-powered trucks or eco-friendly reusable Eco Boxes.
