We accomplish our mission by recycling where we can, but also taking steps to be proactive in protecting the earth. We make green moving practices accessible and affordable and work with our partners to make a real-world impact on the planet.
Our company history
Eco Movers was born out of a desire to change old, harmful moving practices with a fresh environmentally-friendly approach. We’ve grown into Seattle’s premier sustainable moving company, and Google’s No. 1 mover in Washington state. Our thousands of pleased clients tell the story best, as a quarter of our business comes from return customers.
2009
Company founded
Our company was founded in Seattle in 2009 by Grant Korzetz. He spent several years running the business while also performing moves in the field!
2016
Queen Anne HQ
In 2016, we acquired our current warehouse headquarters in Queen Anne, greatly increasing our storage capacity and adding a fleet of clean idle trucks.
2019
Eastside Warehouse
In 2019, we looked to expand even further, and found a second home in Woodinville, adding an even larger warehouse location to serve Seattle’s Eastside.

I started Eco-Movers in 2009 with one objective in mind: to give our customers a wonderful moving experience while reducing the inevitable stress that goes hand in hand when you are moving. Having studied Ecology and Conservation at the University of Washington, local sustainability is a great concern to me and our company.
