What to Look in Your Local Moving Company

There are a lot of moving companies out there, and it’s understandably difficult to pick which one is the best to handle your local move. That’s why we put together this list detailing our top 3 things to look for when choosing local movers:

Environmental Impact: The moving industry significantly contributes to environmental impact through fuel consumption, packing materials, and waste generation, but adopting sustainable practices can reduce its carbon footprint. As your items are moved from one location to another, we are planting trees, using waste-saving moving practices, and utilizing industry-leading green practices.

Highly Rated: Seeing many trustworthy high reviews online is a key factor in choosing a moving company, ensuring reliability and a seamless experience. As the highest-rated moving company in Seattle, WA, Eco Movers is proud of our reputation for exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Check out all of our 5000+ reviews here!

Fully Licensed: It is key that you partner with a moving company that is fully licensed. Check the bottom of the website to find this. For example, our state license is HG#063849.

By looking into these 3 qualities, you will have a basis to make an educated decision on who to move with. Research is key, so be sure to get at least 3 moving estimates to choose from.

Good team for the move. Does moving as well as hauling away stuff that is not needed. Note that the boxes they provide are very expensive. Best to get your own from home depot.

Efficient, affordable, friendly and on time. We've used them for 3 moves and they are excellent. Cody and Jeremy handled this last move and were so fast!

Moved many pieces of furniture, art, and items from Washington to California. Many were fragile. The company packed everything really well, delivered it, unwrapped the furniture and cleaned up. Charged a very reasonable price too. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them

The team did a great job moving me across states. I had a lot of anxiety about the move of some very nice furniture from a 2.5 bedroom, but they took great care of all of my things. They were punctual, Fernando kept me posted and was easy to work with to coordinate the drop off and street parking. The team was quick, got everything into my unit without damage and reassembled everything that was taken apart (standing desk, bed, table etc) just like it was before. No broken glass or dishes, no scratched walls etc. and helped line up my carpets and heavy furniture including a couple very heavy pieces that we tried in different locations until we got it right. Thanks EcoMovers

Things started well. But by the end it was obvious that it was bid incorrectly. By 4 hours over the time allotted everyone fell apart. It needed to be a 2 day move. The final piece which happen to be an expensive large piece. Well it ended up on its side in the middle of the garage. Unacceptable.

I did a local move from a 3 story townhome to another 3 story townhome. My movers Jose and David were great! They were communicative, careful, swift, and above all, cheerful the whole time. They took care with the carpet, floors, walls, and all of my items during the move and wrapped my bedding and cabinetry/desks to protect from scratches.
