We’ve gotten quite a few questions about how we’ve been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, and what we’re doing to protect customers from coronavirus.
Our first line of defense is to protect our crew members, the heart of our organization. We instituted new safety protocols to make sure that the two most important guidelines are followed:
- If anyone is feeling sick, they stay home. No exceptions.
- We wash our hands constantly.
One new measure is an important one for our customers to hear about: If you are showing any signs of sickness, we do reserve the right to postpone your move to protect our crew members.
There are some additional measures that are up to each individual client. All our crew members have been provided with masks, and wearing masks during the job is a requirement.
For our delivery operations, we’ll minimize meetings and stagger dispatch times to reduce contact between employees. We’re also considering additional ways to reduce contact with customers, while keeping our delivery division operating.
For Eco Boxes, we’re continuing to follow the same sanitization procedure we’ve always abided by. After Eco Boxes are picked up from customers, they’re sprayed down with an environmentally-safe sanitizing spray and wiped clean so the boxes are free of any dust, dirt, (or flower, glitter, etc., we’ve seen it all) and germs.
We understand if you feel the need to reschedule your move date for health reasons, and we’ll do our best to find a time slot that works well with your calendar. If you have specific concerns, feel free to call and ask.
